A perfect mix of traditional + fun, classic + unique is what comes to mind when I think of Aubrey + Patrick’s Cedar Rapids, Iowa wedding. Aubrey was a beautiful bride and Patrick looked dashing with his green bow tie. They held their wedding ceremony at Trinity Lutheran Church. Their sweet ceremony, included a solo sang by Patrick’s dad and Irish tunes that followed them out down the aisle as husband and wife. Your may remember from their engagement session that Patrick proposed to Aubrey at an Irish castle and they had Irish touches all through their wedding day. Following a trolley ride with their bridal party through the heart of downtown Cedar Rapids, they headed to The Hotel at Kirkwood Center for a delicious meal and the ultimate dance party. And by ultimate, I really mean ultimate. Aubrey was on the dance team at the University of Northern Iowa and brought that energy to her wedding. From the full bridal party dance to “Evolution of Dance” (I had Kung Fu Fighting in my head the whole time I edited their photos 🙂 ) to a seriously awesome dinner playlist where at one point the wedding party broke out into song during a classic Micheal Jackson tune, their wedding was overflowing with fun. And not only fun, but joy, family, traditions, Irish blessings, and love, which made it an amazing wedding day. Congratulations Aubrey + Patrick! May your marriage be filled with as much love and joy as your wedding day!!!
