On an October day, Tara + Jeremy were married at Tara’s family’s farm in Central Wisconsin. The morning started foggy and misty, which gave the day a romantic and cozy feeling. Tara and her bridesmaids got ready in the home that she grew up in. Between raindrops we took photos outside in the woods, which were in their full fall colors. When it came time for the ceremony, Tara and her father emerged in a horse-drawn carriage from a path through the woods to the ceremony tent, which was nestled in a clearing in the back hayfield. It couldn’t have been a more gorgeous setting! After the ceremony, Tara and Jeremy headed back the house in the carriage to have a quiet moment together as husband and wife before heading back to field for the reception and to dance the night away.
There were so many reasons to love Tara + Jeremy’s wedding. The wedding location was amazing and I think it is so special to be able to be married at your childhood home. Why would you ever want to be married elsewhere when your land is as gorgeous as Tara’s parent’s land? And there were so many beautiful details that Tara + Jeremy and their families created to make the setting perfect for their day and guests. Besides the location, they had a touching and intimate ceremony where Tara and Jeremy exchanged their own written vows. Tara even surprised Jeremy and the guests by playing the song 1,000 Years on the piano. During the heartfelt speeches and to the dance party that carried on through the evening thunderstorms, their wedding day was pretty amazing. Congratulations Tara + Jeremy on your marriage! Thank you for having me be part of your day!
