Erin + Drew :: Iowa Engagement Photography

Erin and Drew’s engagement session…. where do I even start?!?!? I photographed Erin and Drew in Des Moines, Iowa in early September. We spent the morning in downtown Des Moines, shooting photos, drinking coffee, posing on cannons and generally having a blast. We paused to watch the Iowa/ISU game and nap, then we finished up the session at Erin’s parents home in Adel surrounded by hops, Iowa fields and a gorgeous sunset. My favorite part of the photo session wasn’t just laughing away the day shooting photos of a fun-loving, super-cute couple around Des Moines, it was seeing one of my best friends so happy and in love 🙂 I met Erin freshman year of college in beginning drawing at the University of Iowa and I am so honored to be her matron of honer in her July 2013 wedding. I could go on, but I will save that for the speech 🙂 I am so happy for Erin and that she found someone as great and fun as Drew to build a future with! I hope you two have many more mornings of coffee at the farmers market and evenings enjoying hops together during an Iowa sunset:)
