I really try not to choose favorite sessions, but not choosing this session as my favorite is even harder. Every time I go through these photos, I find myself smiling 🙂 And even if you don’t have this reason to plan an anniversary session, it is always fun to celebrate your marraiage!

A little back story …. Ryan and Danielle are my brother and sister-in-law, so keeping this secret for a few days … and then a few weeks was really fun. Danielle called me to ask about a doing an anniversary mini session our at our home (which also was really great to finally get to do!) early this spring. I had an idea of what was going on …. and I was right! Some natural intuition on my part, ha! We devised a plan and she came with chalk boards and a fun Pinterest idea that they should try during their photo session. So they stood back to back and wrote something sweet about each other. Ryan wasn’t sure what to write … and Danielle obviously had her words planned out! After a bit of deliberating Ryan thought of something and they turned around and revealed what they had written. And it probably was the BEST surprise ever 🙂 Another awesome part about this, is that Dan and I had found out we were expecting about a month earlier and hadn’t told anyone yet. Since babies were on my brain as well, I wanted to ask Danielle questions, but had to keep my mouth shut since no one knew we were pregnant. So not only did I have to keep their secret, I had to keep ours for a few more weeks too! Good times 🙂 If due dates are correct (and this is a big IF) our babies will be about 6 weeks apart! Yay cousins!!!
