Emily + Dylan were married on a gorgeous June day in Stevens Point. The two teachers met while they were students at UWSP, so it was fitting they went back to where it all started to to begin their marriage. I met them for their engagement session the previous summer, and I knew that they were wonderful to work with. Not only fun to hang out with (we talked a lot about cats:)) they were also easy-going and relaxed to photograph. Their family and friends were just as kind and enjoyable to be with as Emily + Dylan! Emily’s dad gave one of the best pieces of advice that I have heard during a wedding speech, “Be as nice to your spouse as your are to your cat.” So, so true! We started off the day with preparations and photos at beautiful grounds of Sentry World. We lucked out in the weather department and had a perfect early summer day! I think their wedding was the only Saturday in June that it didn’t rain! A short drive across town took us to the campus church where they were married in front of family and friends. From there, we headed to Schmeeckle Reserve for photos and back to Sentry World to party the evening away. It was one of those fun wedding days that makes me wish that every day was a wedding! Congrats you two, I hope your first year of marriage has been as joyful as your wedding day!
