Katie + Matt :: Fon du Lac Wedding Photography

Happy first anniversary to Katie + Matt! Since I photographed this wedding, I knew I wanted share it. Katie + Matt were married in Fon du Lac on September 19. Katie and Matt live in Nevada, and they came home to Wisconsin to get married. I met Katie when I photographed her sister, Claire’s wedding in 2011. And from that, I knew their family was wonderful to work with. Katie got ready surrounded by her family at her parents home on Lake Winnebago. She had a special moment where the women of the family, her mom, grandmas, and three sisters signed her shoes and wished her well. Katie met Matt for a first look at their church and shared a moment before they were married during a thoughtful, intimate ceremony. It felt like everyone at the ceremony had a special part in the service and the lives of Katie + Matt.  Following their ceremony, they had a delicious round-table dinner with their guests at Trinity, an old church, that is now converted into restaurant in downtown Fon du Lac. After dinner, they opened up their day to celebrate with more friends and family on the patio. It was such a special and unique wedding day and I was truly honored to be part of it!
