Hannah + Luke :: Chippewa Retreat Resort Wedding :: Manitowish Waters, Wisconsin

On an October Saturday at Chippewa Retreat Resort, Hannah + Luke were married! These two lovebirds, with their sweet nicknames and inside jokes, were such a joy to photograph. I met them earlier that summer for their Northwoods engagement session, so I knew how great it would be to photograph them again 🙂  Hannah, who works in television news an is a visual person, planned so many touching moments throughout their wedding day. From the beginning, this was an emotional day! Hannah + Luke took a break from the excitement of getting ready with their family and friends to have had a sweet gift and letter exchange. Hannah had even recorded a video shortly after they were engaged for Luke to watch on their wedding day. Hannah got dressed with her mom and mother-in-law at her side. Isn’t it wonderful to have not one, but two moms to celebrate with!?! She planned a first look with her ladies, her father and for Luke and his mom. These two know how to make the people around them feel loved and appreciated 🙂 Luke saw Hannah for the first time as she came down the aisle to be married lakeside. Their touching ceremony was full of happy tears and loving words. After they were joyfully announced as husband and wife we took photos around the gorgeous property.  We had an impending downpour to work around, but managed to get all the photos finished just before it really started raining. If I could sum up their wedding in one word it would be joyful! Congratulations you two, it was a pleasure to photograph your beautiful wedding day!
