Amanda + Mike :: Seattle Wedding Photography

Amanda + Mike got married on a gorgeous rainy Sunday in Seattle. The showers throughout the day forced them to move their outdoor wedding inside to their reception location, Blue Ribbon Cooking on Lake Union. You never would have known that there was a switch though, their venue was decorated beautifully,  everything ran smoothly, and there was none of that last minute running around when plans change. And most of all the Amanda + Mike were totally relaxed, calm and in love, which makes any wedding day, no matter the circumstances, unfold perfectly. They had such a great wedding day planned too with all the elements of a good time. They had a lovely and personal ceremony and afterward released white doves. They had amazing food, sweet speeches and and were surrounded by family and friends. And to finish off the night was their awesome dance party with Liam leading the way on the dance floor.

It was so great to make the trip from Wisconsin to Seattle for their wedding. I met Mike in college while studying abroad in Germany, and we have been friends since. I was thrilled that they asked me to photograph their wedding day and honored to be part of it. I would say congratulations in German, but I am a little rusty 🙂 So, many congratulations Amanda + Mike on your marriage!!! I hope your days are filled with many joys and lots of laughter!
