Megan + Brent :: Big Powderhorn Michigan Wedding

On a beautiful August Saturday, Megan + Brent were married! I met these two in Wausau before their wedding, where we had a beer and talked about their wedding day. They are such as sweet couple and have a love of the outdoors. Megan + Brent live in Ironwood, Michigan and planned their wedding at Big Powderhorn Mountain, which Brent and his family own and operate. I haven’t been to the UP of Michigan in the summer since I was a kid, but driving through the Northwoods in summer is something I always enjoy. I loved pulling up the windy roads to the sweet chalet where Megan and her girls were getting ready. Ski hills are my favorite any time of the year! They used both lodges for their wedding; the Gun Barel Lodge for the ceremony and the  Caribou Bar and Restaurant for the reception. We were able to head up to the mountain twice for photos, which was pretty awesome too. The view was amazing, the weather perfect, and the day was phenomenal.
