I can’t believe 2013 is over in about 34 hours! Wow! What an amazing and fun year this has been. I am not one to re-cap much, but as I look back, I have so much to be thankful for. I thought I would share a few photos from Instagram, since that seemed to be my camera of choice for capturing my life this year 🙂
2013 was pretty awesome in so many ways starting with our amazing honeymoon trip to Costa Rica
And nights filled like this
To the Making Things Happen Conference in Chapel Hill
To spending spring break with my nephews in Kansas City
To my last day of work at my job and going full-time with my business
To celebrating our first anniversary!
To fixing up and moving out to the cabin
To photographing 19 gorgeous weddings and lovely couples
And photographing countless cute babies, sweet families and fun seniors. Including the first brand-new Hiller nephew this year!
To fun guests at the cabin
To time spent with friends and times spent with fatbikes and times in front of bonfires.
To another America’s Hometown Fourth of July with family
And to becoming godparents to our fourth godchild
To actually participating in a wedding and being the Matron of Honor for Erin’s wedding
To relaxing in the hammock on the lake
And watching sunset and sunrises and mist and the moon and the weather over the lake
To getting to know 2015 couples during engagement sessions
To that one month, September, where I drove over 4,100 miles. I don’t have a picture for this because I don’t really remember this month much but I do know it was filled with pretty photos 🙂 I did photograph Kelsey’s wedding (the first friend I ever made!) in Des Moines this month!
To my 31st birthday when we went on a fat bike ride among many bike rides that we went on this year.
To a last-minute flying trip to Tennessee with Dan
To running the Madison Half Marathon
To visiting my Kansas City nephews (again)
To watching winter and a quiet season start
And to another Christmas in Charles City
And more time spent with family in Wisconsin and Iowa
Whew! I think that is it! What a good year! I’m looking forward to seeing all that 2014 will bring!!!
P.S. : If anyone has a good way to share Instagram photos on a blog, I would be forever grateful!!!
