It was so much fun to photograph one of the sweetest couples ever, Valerie + Erin’s, September wedding! These two together are adorable and their family and friends were all wonderful to hang out with and photograph on their wedding day as well. Their wedding was filled with a lot of laughter, a few happy tears, and so. so much joy. It was just a pretty awesome day to be part of 🙂 Valerie is from Minocqua, so it was special to photograph their wedding in the church she grew up in and in her hometown. Minocqua is a beautiful Northwoods location for weddings as well! We lucked out with the weather, and the rain stopped right after their receiving line. After their heartfelt ceremony, we headed to the Bearskin State Trail for photos in the fall weather and near the lake. From there we went to celebrate their wedding at Rueland’s Conference Center. Valerie and Erin met freshman year in the dorms at the UW- Madison, so it was fun to see what touches they took from “where it all started” to their wedding day. I loved the mini terrace chairs they used! This day was also pretty special to me personally as my parents got married on September 1oth, but 50 years earlier! Congratulations Valerie + Erin on your marriage! I hope it is filled with as much love and laughter as your wedding day!
